Although laboratory spaces make up about a quarter of Columbia’s total building area, they consume about half of its energy. Scientific research uses a lot of resources, but as scientists who believe in global climate change, we are committed to shrinking our footprint. Therefore, we are developing and implementing a series of programs to improve environmental performance in laboratory spaces.
